The Research Of The Process And Experience In China’s National Unity And Progress Since The Reform And Opening-up

China is a long-established and diverse country. National work is a comprehensive work involving the fields of economic, politics, culture, social and so on. It plays an important role in the overall situation of the party and nation’s development. An important task of the national work is to promote the development of national unity and progress. The national unity and progress is an indispensable part in the career of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is a career, including propaganda and education, construction, citation of national unity progress, under the guidance of the theory and policy in national solidarity, to defend solidarity, promote the development of minorities’ regions and solve ethical problem. The national unity and progress sprouted with the new China. After twenty years’cultivation, with the breeze of reform and opening-up policy, it grows robustly, branches are in leaf. Gradually it becomes a giant tree which defends the national solidarity. This paper focuses on China’s national unity and progress since the reform and opening-up policy thirty years ago. With the combination of the party’s history and the theory of ethical issues, I will start with The Third Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party, and then split the timeline by the First National Awards Ceremony for Ethnic Unity and Progress, and the16th Party Congress. According to this, I divide the national unity and progress into three phases to investigate separately, which are correction, development and innovation. By using the methods of inspecting into history and analyzing logically, combining macro and micro aspects, studying systematically and so on, I intend to focus on organizing the backgrounds, contents, processes, achievements and so forth. Furthermore, I will conclude the concept, research into the procedures, and summarize the experience of the national unity and progress from the macroscopic view. It makes contribution to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper includes the following sections:The introduction section, which introduces the significance of topic, research status, research methods and the innovation points of the article compared with other related ones.The first section explains the concept of the national unity and progress, summarizes its contents, and concludes its historical origin and realistic foundation. This section is the theoretical foundation for the following.The second, third and the fourth sections divide the national unity and progress into three phases, restart, development and innovation, based on China’s national unity and progress since the reform and opening-up policy thirty years ago. The fifth section summarizes the experience and outcome of the national unity and progress from the macroscopic view.
