Research On The Motivation Of University Student Village Officials Under The Perspective Of "two-factor" Theory

As a national far-reaching strategic decisions, the university student village officials plan formally announced to implement in2008. Over the years, more than30million university student village official are selected to serve the village heart and soul, which have a deep influence on the economy and society of village in china. So the university student village officials are regarded as strong power to promote the construction of New Socialist Countryside in the Future. But as new thing, the university student village officials policy is not perfect, how to motivate the university student village officials is a core problem. For example,it is not enough to consider the incentive factor of the policy, some local governments do not carry out the plan well for some reason, some university student village officials are not competent for the job for lack of ability, the limitation of acquaintance culture in the village bring pressure on the university student village officials, which lead to the problem of the existence and development in university student village officials and make the university student village officials in desperation.As a result,the goal of the policy is not reached.This paper adapted the Frederick Herzberg’s two-factor theory to study the motivation of university student village officials in C city. Based on a lot of interviews and questionnaires, this paper analyzed the current university village students village official problems in-depth, thus put forward to improve university students village official policy measure.
