Based on the above theory, the paper summarizes the construction of the community policing mechanism in Guangzhou. But, there are also some problems prevent the construction of community policing mechanism in Guangzhou such as understanding is not in place, community work time is not guaranteed, the work ideas are not clear, the ladder of management needs to be innovated, the quality of the police need to be further improved. One reasons is due to the hard work of the police station restricts the work of community police and the police force allocation is not reasonable, the other is due to the community policing mechanism is not perfect and the community policing need all the support and cooperation. Modern community policing mechanism based on community, as the service is the first, hope public participation, and take prevention as the main task. It demands of police resources integration, equipment modernization, work informatization, social services, operation efficiency, behavior standard, quality of the actual combat. So, it should innovative ideas, establish the develop view of the harmonious, strengthen the construction of community policing, expand the way of thinking and perfect the public service mechanism, strengthen the police contact, enhance service awareness, construct public security prevention and control system, so that to promote the development of modern community policing mechanism construction in Guangzhou.
