Research On The Improvement Countermeasures Of Community Policing Work In Beijing

In the background of the current macroeconomic situation continue to deepen the reform of public security work,social governance innovation and the construction of service-oriented government,Beijing as the China's political and cultural center,facing the problem of high incidence of criminal cases,the security situation is complicated and strained relations between the police and the public.They current mode of community policing is difficult to meet the new requirements of they increasing crime rate and the new expectations of the masses,planning the reform of community policing work is the inevitable requirement under the new situation.Community policing theory is introduced into China since the end of 1980 s,the Public Security Bureau of Beijing has carried out the community policing work with Chinese characteristics combined with the actual situation of Beijing's public security environment,which has reduced the crime rate to a certain extent and has produced some social benefits.However,with the continuous change of society,some problems have been exposed,which restrict the long-term development of public security work.Using the field investigation method and interview method,this article makes a on-the-spot investigation on the operation of the community policing work in the grass-roots police stations in Beijing,and based on the investigation of the masses in the area,analyzes the existing problems of the operation of the community policing in Beijing.On this basis,we use inductive method to generalize the existing general problems.We combine the theory and practice with the theories of public management,and find out the root causes of their problems.Using the literature research method,experience method,based on theoretical research and practical reform of domestic and foreign advanced experience,this article puts forward the operation of community policing adapting to the new situation,and provides suggestions and Countermeasures for maintaining community stability and implementing the long-term development of community policing strategy.
