Study On Issues Relating To Village Committee Selection Of Our Country

Rural issues is the fundamental problem of China’s economic and political development.In the villagers’ autonomy, democratic elections is one of the core content, the development of villagers’ autonomy and the size of its achievements have a decisive with the development of the village committee elections and the realization of village elections right. After20years of exploration, development, and theory with practice, China’s democratic construction in rural areas has been greatly developed and made some great achievements, the villager committee system has been developed in all country’s rural, the majority of villagers interests are fully protected by the village committee elected by all the villagers. The continuous development of the village committee elections provided many experience which is worth considering for the country’s democratic political construction,and promoted the development of democratic politics. However, the development of the village committee election is not smooth sailing,since China’s vast territory, the various parts of the environment, resources and cultural background, formed a huge difference, economic, political, cultural and social level of development of different, especially in rural society, there are many historical legacy of poor feudal,such as patriarchal and social acquaintances, these have hampered the development of democracy,lead that village committee elections can not carry out normal,e results of the elections do not meet the wishes of most of the villagers,or village committees have difficult to manage the village and faced a series of tough challenges after the election.In this paper, I start with the theoretical foundation of the village committee elections, analysis of the status and characteristics of the village committee elections,through the Investigation and summary of specific cases, analysis the problems and causes exposed in the electoral process, then propose suggestions targeted combined with the theory of the village committee elections, provide theoretical and practical reference in order to improve the development of the village committee elections in the future.
