Employment is vital to people’s livelihood, is the fundamental prerequisite andbasic approach for improving people’s life. Employment is one of the major problemof the people’s livelihood which is closely related to people’s quality of life and thelevel of income. Due to various reasons, China’s employment problem is becomingincreasingly prominent, in recent years has caused many scholars attention andresearch. Among them, the ethnic minority as the employment of vulnerable groupshas the problems in this area more prominent.the topic of this paper is “Investigation on the employment status of the Yinationality in Liang Shan”, to the domestic and foreign research results about therural population, the floating population and employment of minorities and so on, tocollect a large number of original data, makes a scientific analysis of environmentand national policies on their own quality, service the Yi nationality in Liang Shanface in employment the Yi nationality in Liang Shan, aiming to find out which existsin the employment issues, reasons resulting in the problems of the correspondingsolutions and suggestions.This paper first describes the content of the writing background and researchstatus, this paper reviews some research, the employment problems of minorityachievement and experience at home and abroad. The second chapter of the LiangShan area population distribution, social history, industrial structure, the papersystematically introduces. The third chapter of "the Statistical Yearbook of LiangShan "and the questionnaire data were collected and the analysis of the existing inthe course of employment in Yi nationality in Liang Shan problem. The fourthchapter according to the status of social, cultural, economic and other areas of LiangShan and analysis of the impact brought about employment problem existing in theregion of Yi nationality in Liang Shan and its development. The fifth chapter in thepaper is to solve the problem of employment of the Yi nationality and give thecountermeasures and suggestions.
