The Impact Of Government Website Quality On User’s Online Trust

With the development of e-government, how to make citizens cooperate in theconstruction of e-government and how to improve the satisfaction of e-government systemhave become an urgent problem which need to be solved in the process of e-governmentconstruction. The government departments spend a great deal of enthusiasm and resourceson the construction of government websites in the process of e-government websiteconstruction. On the other hand, the application amount of government website is low,which make a large number of government website leave unused. Considering thesereasons, citizens’ online trust has become an important research direction in the field ofe-government. In order to improve the citizens’ willingness to use e-government, we mustimprove their online trust in e-government. Only citizens have the online trust on theInternet,can they enhance the efficiency in the use of e-government website and theirsatisfaction.Therefore, on the basis of the review of literatures, this paper uses the quantitativemethod in how citizens’ online trust influence issues on the quality of e-governmentwebsite.Beginning with the former researches, this paper summarizes the definition ofwebsite quality. According to the characteristics of the e-government, this paper make adefined a e-government website quality measuring dimension. Through the research on thetrust, this paper makes a definition of online trust in e-government and its influencingfactors. Taking it as a starting point, this paper raises the research framework on thequality of e-government website between citizens’online trust.On the basis of theoretical research, this paper analyzes the system quality, servicequality and information quality and how they impact citizens’ online trust.This paper alsoraises a model about how the quality of e-government website affects citizens’online trust.At last, this paper proves the reliability of the model by data analysis. On this basis,this paper makes an analysis on the issues which need attention in the process of buildinge-government website, and provides a theoretical reference for the construction ofe-government website.
