Psychological Pressure And Countermeasures Of Frontline Police

With the continuous development of social progress and the pace of life accelerating, it seems that psychological pressure is becoming one of the most influential factors that affect people’s daily life. While the police belong to emergency professional, especially those who work in the front line, high risk, high strength, high load seem to have brought about them greater psychological stress under than any other professional group and may have wider impact on them. At present, great importance has been attached to the police’s mental health problem by the central committee of CPC, the state council, the ministry of public security, and other relevant departments. To understand the mental health status of the police and target to solve the psychological stress problem of the police is an important subject as the economic system reform deepens and the social transformation accelerates.An in-depth study of the source and external forms of the psychological stress of the police who work in the front line can be crucial to eliminate and alleviate the psychological pressure of the professional group, so as to avoid adverse consequences, promote the public security police team construction and speed up the pace of the construction of a law-governed society. This paper started with a questionnaire to the frontline police in Jingyuan, Ningxia. Hopefully it can come up with effective strategies for relieving the mental pressure of the police working in the front line by figuring out the basic situation of their mental pressure, the source of the pressure, and the influencing factors through those data. Therefore, this article is mainly divided into five parts:The first part mainly discusses the significance of the research of issues relating to the mental pressure of the police working in the first line, the current research on the relevant issues from domestic scholars, the major research methods of this article, and etc. so as to determine the main points and research focus of this article.The second part is the theoretical analysis which sorts out the basic concept of psychological pressure of the police working in the front line, clearly defines the scope of the study of psychological stress of the police working in the front line, and sums up the influence of psychological stress for them.The third part analyzes the data of the survey from the police in Jingyuan, Ningxia, who have been working in the frontline. It provides an overall analysis of the psychological stress of the police, gives a comparative analysis of pressure source and the methods in response to the pressure, and finally gives an analysis of ideological and political education influence on psychological stress.The fourth part is about the analysis of the relationship between ideological and political education and psychological stress management, including target analysis, content analysis and the method analysis, in order to establish a connection between the ideological and political education and the response to psychological stress.The fifth part, from the perspective of ideological and political education, puts forward countermeasures for the psychological pressure of the police working in the front line, covering aspects such as basic ideas, strategic methods and key points that need to be pay attention to.
