AC Company Engine Optimization Of The Production Process

Production process is an important part of enterprise operations, it determines the scale of investment in fixed assets and the size of fixed cost of production, but also for corporation human resources, logistics and other operational costs as well as production efficiency and product quality have a significant impact. Process optimization is one of the important methods of continuous improvement for a manufacturing company. Through production process optimization, it can increase productivity, reduce waste and inventory, ultimately enhance labor productivity to increase the profits of enterprises, strengthen company competitiveness in the industry market.In this paper, with the background of industrial engineering basic theory, focusing on the IE method in program analysis, operational analysis, line balancing, process analysis and applying all thinking in AC company diesel engine workshop to improve the site management. In the integration of IE and engine production on the basis of the actual situation, making the suggestions to research engine production management field. Lean production methods and concepts will be applied in improving the process also.The key process of AC company engine workshop is engine assembly and engine testing. For the two main processes, this paper studies are following:First proposing research significance, and making rough description about currently different process optimization method applying in local and abroad. Focusing on IE history development process and it’s applications in different industry fields.Secondly for currently engine production assembly line and engine test bench, analyzing exist production bottleneck, pointing out that the capacity constraints causing by the possible reasons.According to status analysis result, applying IE working research assembly line balancing、layout optimization three aspects in workshop, trying to find an effective way to implement process optimization purposes.In the end discussing how to keep the existing process optimization effect, and presenting the future improvement possibility.
