Metro vehicle control system is composed of many different kinds of electrical cabinets, whose reliability will directly affect the security of metro vehicle. At present, most of the metro vehicle equipment manufacturers use the method of manual detection, which is time-consuming, laborious and existing the risk of undetected or fault detection. In order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the detection, an automatic electrical cabinet test system in metro vehicle control system is needed to research and develop to replace the manual detection of the electrical cabinet.Firstly, determine the electrical cabinet test principal according to the features of the electrical cabinet in metro vehicle control system. The principal is, restore the internal circuit of the tested electrical cabinet based on the design list of it, and then test it according to the circuit, with the input specifically set and the output collected, we can ensure the fault of the electrical cabinet through the comparison between the collected output and expected output.Secondly, design the whole system according to the testing principal. The whole system is divided into three layers, system layer, management layer and test layer. The system layer is aiming to determine the test program and co-ordinate the testing process; the management is aiming for the management of communications and test power; the test layer is aiming to specifically set the tested electrical cabinet input and collect the output.Thirdly, based on the whole system, make the hardware design and implement for the system, including the communications design, test power management design and board design of each module in the test system. After that, design the master program of the modules based on the hardware design.Finally, debug the test system and give solutions to the problems encountered during debugging process. After a long period of debugging and improvement, the test system currently is in normal operation, achieved the expected test purposes and provided efficient and reliable solutions for electrical cabinet test in metro vehicle control system.
