“Zai”-structure referring time is an important grammar in Chinese and is one ofthe difficulties in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In this paper,"Zai"structure referring time is analyzed in detail and the induction, and foreign students’acquisition error is analyzed. Combining with the teaching of Chinese as a foreignlanguage, we put forward some corresponding suggestions from teacher, teaching andteaching material.The first chapter is the introduction part. Mainly includes the researchbackground, purpose and significance of the topic, the theoretical foundation, themain research methods, writing ideas and framework, data description.The second chapter is literature review. It is reviewed on “Zai” referring time.Including ancient times and modern timesThe third chapter is the research on grammar."Zai"-structure referring time isdivided into seven kinds. We study on the representation of the semanteme, sentenceposition, the frequency distribution of word structure, part of speech in the “Zai”structure, and the components in sentences,etc. Otherwise, we emphasize on thelooming of the “Zai” referring time.The forth chapter is error analysis. In this chapter, based on the HSK dynamiccomposition corpus, the errors are analyzed, to find out the type of error, error anderror: missing, generation and special cases.The fifth chapter is to generate the causes of error. Main: negative transfer ofnative language, target language knowledge overgeneralization and studentsavoidance strategy.The sixth chapter is the foreign Chinese teaching suggestions. On the foundationof previous research, the authors summarize the problem solving in three methods:circumpositions unit teaching, preposition discrimination and mobilize theenthusiasm of the students.In the last chapter, this research will be summarized, and pointed out theinnovation and deficiency.
