This article investigated the “有VP” sentence, a deviant form of oral mandarin.It affirmed the research results critically and innovated radically by reading relatedliterature and academic monograph, collecting and analyzing the textual corpus, etc. Italso explores the “有VP” sentence creatively, comprehensively and systematically,including its syntactic distribution, pragmatic function and structural features. Thepaper also judges the property of “有”, and predicates the development prospect of“有VP” bold and fully. Then it makes a questionnaire to investigate Chinese languagelearners’ acceptance level, exposure level, learning interest and learning methods fromthe perspective of teaching. And therefore it put forward some teaching suggestionsabout the “有VP” sentence.The research shows that the “有VP” sentences distribute in declarative sentences,interrogative sentences and answer sentences. In the perspective of pragmatic function,there are two kinds of interrogative sentences. One is enquiring question, enquiring“imperative” or not, and it’s an ellipsis form of whether “有VP” or not. The other isrhetorical question, forming or strengthening the rhetorical question mood, whichfunctions as affirming semanteme.“有” can be as an affirmation of being asked“have/had done or not”. There are two kinds of function of declarative sentences. Oneis that the “有” functions as forming sentences, a combination of imperative andaffirmation, the affirmation level varies depending on the context and the narrative ofVP. The other is the “有” has no function as forming sentences, only showingaffirmation or emphasis. The “有” is an adverb, corresponding to “没有”. The “有VP” sentences have a big influence on the Mandarin system in the language symmetry,expressivity and amendment.“有VP” sentences have the teaching requires. If “有VP” sentences were betaken in view in teaching, teachers may consider these suggestions:making clear theteaching content, distinguishing the difficult points, confirming the teaching sequence,dividing the teaching objects reasonably, and making the teaching methods flexible.
