Modal words are used to express the mood. People say every word with a certain tone. Modal words have their unique features.The purpose of this study is to explore how to teach modal words systematically. And how to adopt more easy way to let students accept easily. This paper combines the predecessors’ modal word research, modal words errors with single modal words teaching research. For foreign students, a variety of errors are classified and the analyses.We put forward learning master arrangement from teaching content, teaching order. At the same time, we put forward some reasonable proposals to the teachers. Finally, in order to cultivate students’ independent use of Chinese communicative ability as the goal, we put forward suggestions for compiling teaching materials.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. Introduce modal words teaching research background, the purpose and significance of the research, the theoretical basis and main research methods, paper’s framework.The second chapter is literature review. Introduce the modal words research particles and modal words teaching situation. Introduce modal word research then put forward problems.Emphasis literature overview and comment.The third chapter is modal word at the end of the sentence definition and their importance. Modal words at the end of the sentence definition, classification, function and its importance.The fourth chapter summarizes the students’ acquisition errors."Missing"," Excess","Misuse","Dislocation", Each error has a corresponding example. Analysis the error of each example and the causes of the error.The fifth chapter is the main part of the article. According to the causes of error, put forward teaching strategies and suggestions on Compiling.The sixth chapter summarizes the paper points, put forward unresolved issues.
