Han Dynasty Tombs In Ningxia

In this paper,through arranging and analyzing the materrias about the tombs of Han Dynasty which have been found in Ningxia province,and based on theory aforementioned and available,the paper divides all of Han tombs in Ningxia province into two districts:the northern part and the southern part,meanwhile divides the southern part into tongxin and guyuan two little areas.Then using the archaeological typology method,analyzing the form of the tombs、burial equipment and the features of different areas,combined with the bronze money and mirror judge the time of tombs.The history of Han Dynasty tombs of northern part can be divided into six phases:the middle period of the West Han,the late period of the Western Han,the final period of the Western Han and the initial period of the Estern Han,the early period of the Eastern Han and the middle and the later period of the Estern Han.tongxin area include the late of the Western Han and the final period of the Western Han.Guyuan area have the same time with the northern area.Based on the research of three districts and six phases,the paper first sum sup the local feature of the three areas.In northern area,the brick-chambered and catacombs were prevail.The phenomenon which bottom of coffins bestrew plant ash is common,besides the phenomenon which double coffins reversedly lay up is especial.In the burial artifacts,ceramic oblate pot and unitized pots、unitized kitchen ranges are special.Taken as a whole, tombs in the northern area and inner Mongolia are very close.In the tongxin area,the tombs of Pit burials with habitacle and the second layer stage were the rage, the custom of butcher animals was found in catacombs.The bronze plaque with animal patterns、 bronze buckles and gunmetal ring are unique.In the guyuan area, the brick-chambered tombs and glazed pottery is common,the tombs in this area are strongly influenced by the guanzhong area in shanxi province.Sencond,the paper conclude the universality of the tombs of Han Dynasty in Ningxia province:the trend of the tombs culture into Chinese.In the end, the paper probes into the cause of difference among these districts from nationalities of tombs、geo-relation and policy moves.
