With the quick development of tourism in the intellectual economy, it gives rise tothe emerging of tourism entertainment, a combination of tourism and entertainment.Provinces of China have created tourism entertainment products with distinctivegeographical and cultural characteristics, in order to enrich the culture of touristdestination and meet the spiritual and cultural needs of tourists. During the past fewyears, a number of tourist entertainment products have been created in InnerMongolia taking advantage of the unique tourism resources, but there still exists ahuge gap compared to other well-known products. Based on the past researches ondomestic tourism entertainment and the case studies of national-representativeentertainment products, this thesis defines the concept of tourism entertainmentproducts, and summarizes the structure, characteristics, categories, and the factorsdetermining the success of tourism entertainment product design. This researchapplies RMP model to study the development status of tourism entertainmentproducts in Inner Mongolia, and provides recommendations and implications forfurther innovation.
