The study of Ci emerged with the prosperity of Ci. Ci had already appeared in the SongDynasty, but it did not immediately become a independent subject. Research contents of mostscholars are limited in the literature, only few scholars’ research in phonology. Although theresearch had made some achievements, such as the The Rules and Forms of Ci written byWan Shu, and The Collection of Tunes of Ci poems of Imperial Collection, these works have agreat influence on later generations. But there are many imperfections, summarization methodof the previous works is quite general, and their contents are broader. Consequently they arenot the exhaustive researches of Song Ci.. These researches are not comprehensive.This paper studies the works based on the book named Quan Songci, which is edited byTang Guizhang. At the same time this paper also refers to The Revised Quan Songci withDetailed Notes written by Zhu Decai, and includes the eighty-four words to ninety-threewords from all the song lyrics.Then analyzes, summarizes the study of metrical lyrics, andlook for previous ignored problem. In order to ensure that accuracy, the words that only havetitles, the three kinds of novel words in the appendix, the works which we don’t know theauthor, the works that have many missing words, and those have less than five works are notincluded in the scope of this paper.This paper is divided into five parts, the specific contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. It includes two parts: the reason and significance ofthe research, the method, and steps of the research. The first part introduces the "Ci" researchpresent situation, achievements and existing problems, explaines the reasons for choosing thistopic and the value of the research. The second part introduces the main method of the paper,the research process, and contents of the standard problem of the thesis.The second chapter is the brief introduction of Song Ci. This part consists of fivesections: the first section introduces the title of Ci; the second section introduces the genre ofCi; the third section introduces the related questions about the paragraphs of Ci; the fourthsection introduces the related content of poetry; the fifth section introduces the rhymes of Ci.The third chapter is the analysis of specific Cipu format. This is the core of this paper,including four aspects of contents: the introduction of the tune of Ci, the overall situation,style analysis, and the brief summary. This part analyzes and studies eighteen Cipais(词牌)from the eighty-four words to ninety-three words one by one. The fourth chapter is analysis of specific poems rhyme. This part takes of the term “thesixteen she”(十六摄) in the traditional Chinese phonology as the key link, and analyzes thespecific poems rhyme for all qualified, including the even tone rhyme, the narrow tone rhyme,the entering tone rhyme, shang-qu-tong-ya, ping-ze-hu-xie, ping-ze-zhuan-yun, etc.The fifth chapter is the conclusion. This part briefly summarizes the main contents ofthis thesis.
