The author begins with Chinese traditional painting on the three aspects, that is, greatness in light nai’ve, searching every Qifeng scratch, and then makes a further discussion of the liveliness of ink painting according to personal experience on landscape sketch. In terms of the ink painting curriculum in contemporary ink painting studio, it needs more subjective dynamic observation, vitality, freshness, raw feel and non-replication for the painting objects, which exist in the vigor of painting, thus, the painting can be vivid. As a material, ink painting can be incomplete. Not like the photography, ink painting expresses the real feeling of painter, and reflects the understanding method of painter on things. Ink painting focuses on subjective perception and requires painter to use his own words to express subjective perception on objective things. It pays more attention to explosive expression with oblivious personal feeling, which should have evident difference from the sketch in junior college study and undergraduate study. The Chinese traditional painting has potential influence on us with more reflection on research and exploration.
