The sketch of modern landscape paintings has been influenced by the way of Western sketching due to the west-culture communication to China.The "three-perspective method” summarized by Guo Xi in the Northern Song Dynasty is not only the observation method and the composition method of the guide painter,but also enables the painter to achieve the harmony and unity of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism in the process of expressing the artistic conception of the picture.This article attempts to analyze Guo Xi's " Three-perspective method” to explore the ways in which the ancients looked at nature and appreciate the traditional Chinese humanistic spirit and aesthetic interest.
