| Context in interpreting includes a variety of subjective and objective factors, and itaffects interpreting process. Those factors can be divided into two categories: thepresence and the absence, making up the dual language contexts of interpreting. Thereare three conventional problems of consecutive interpreting in conferences: zerotranslation, mistranslation, disfluency. These problems are studied in causal analysis indual contexts. And the solutions to these problems are given, which include thestrategies of grasping keywords; addition or omission, taking notes scientifically,recognizing accent in text as the presence factors. In addition, the strategies likeappropriate use of the background knowledge and development of psychologicalqualities are discussed as the absence factors in interpreting process. |
