Research On Community Attachment Of Rural-urban Continuum

As the gradual promotion of urbanization and modernization of our country, communityconstruction is coming to be the core of urban management and society management. So,community construction of rural-urban continuum is playing an increasingly important role in thesocialist modernization. Community attachment is the essence of community construction. It ishelpful to promote the harmonious development of the whole society by enhancing the communityattachment.This article will focus on the community construction of rural-urban continuum. Most of theexisting researches of community attachment are remain at the theoretical level, lack of practice andmost are limited in urban residents’ community attachment, ignoring the urban-ruralresidents’.Therefore,it has a great theoretical and practical significance for our harmoniouscommunity construction by the study on community attachment of rural-urban continuum. Firstly, Isummarized the research status of community attachment at home and abroad. Then I analyzed thecharacteristics and developments of rural-urban continuum in China, summed up the status ofcommunity attachment in rural-urban continuum, and compared the similarities and differenceswith normal cities. Finally, according to factors of the conununity attachment, I proposed thepractical strategies and ways on how to further promote the construction and development ofcommunity attachment in rural-urban continuum.
