Interaction Between Nonprofit Organizations And Their External Environment

Non-profit organization which is the backbone of civil society or the correction of market failures and government failure has received extensive attention in academic circles all the time. After the reform and open up, during China’s transition process by all-powerful state to limited national, non-profit organizations’role aroused widespread interest of scholars. In real life, can non-profit organizations become an independent organization in parallel with the government departments and the profit organizations? What organizational characteristics and the development dilemma do non-profit organizations have in actual operation? What is the relation between non-profit organization and other organization? What is the relation between non-profit organization and other organization? How do they get the resources of survival and development?Based on resource dependency theory in the organization theory, I want to analyze how does FH cooperate with other social bodies in external environment? How does FH get the resources of survival and development from other social subjects? What resources does FH provide for other subjects? When FH interacts with other subjects, there’s bound to be conflict, what conflict? What strategies does FH take to increase the bargaining chip for more resources? When FH’s external requirements do not match its target, how does it deal with the relationship between its survival and purpose? How to maintain its autonomy and independence? I hope through this typical case of FH to discuss that our those non-profit organizations from the bottom up how to get the resources of survival and development from other social subjects and how to maintain its autonomy and independence? Specifically, this paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction part. In this part Ⅰ introduce the reason why I choose FH Social Enterprise as a case study. And then I make review and summary of research on the home and abroad about non-profit organization. Finally briefly illustrate the concrete methods of the research type, data collection and research ideas for later discussion and analysis.In the second chapter Ⅰ introduce the FH leaders, creating process, the organization’s goals, mission and the organization’s main activities and funding sources, then I put forward the main problem of this study, perspective, dimension and the concrete frame.In the third chapter Ⅰ analyze the external social environment and itself of FH. So I have understanding of the external social environment and itself of FH.The fourth chapter to the fifth chapter is the core part of this paper. In the two chapter Ⅰ Analyze the cooperation, conflict, adjustment and strategy between organization and government.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part.
