The emergence of computer font library problem isn’t a accidental phenomenon.Accompanying with technical maturity of internet and computer technology,the Chineselanguage font which has several thousand years history has been pulled in the era’stide.Computer fonts is just like the blood and nerve ofbody,distributing in countlesscomputer and other equipments’s operating system and application program.as theChinese traditional culture development’s carrier,computer font library undertakes theduty of promoting race culture and developing race spirit.Chinese font presents variedform,revealing artistic feature,which takes over a major part of our lives.However, as a result of wild piracy、 worsing market environment、 lacking ofdevelopment power,computer font library copyright’protection is faced with a lot ofproblem.Therefore,this paper is aimed at studying the feasibility of computer font librarycopyright protection in our current law system,expecting to find a way to solve problem offont library’copyright protection.This paper’text is divided into four parts:Chapter1defines the computer fonts library’ conception.This paper is trying toexplain the essence of computer fonts library in new point of view and carding relevantconception’distinction, analyzing current viewpoint on computer font library.Chapter2introduces the current situation of computer fonts library’copyrightprotection in domestic and overseas.basing on the analysis of oversea experience,thispaper expects to find the relation between oversea advanced practice and its hiddenessence,so that offer a direct reference to slove this problem.Chapter3analyses some specific questions on the copyright protection of thecomputer font.This chapter analyses the necessity of computer fonts library’copyrightprotection、obstacle of computer fonts library’copyright protection、legal property of fontand computer fonts library、Infringement judge method and so on.this chapter quotes morepicture of font and fonts library,considering current computer fonts library’market,combining with the copyright law,expects to expound the problem above. Chapter4raises up some suggestions for the computer font library protection，discussing how to make some feasible adjustment in current law system combining withfont library industry development.
