At present, our rapid economic and social development, raising people’s livingstandards, the government fiscal revenue increased rapidly, nearly ten years more tobecome the world’s major economic powers, rising international status. But thet thingwe must recognize is, the rapid development of economy in China at the same time, italso faces some problems. For example, the basic public services in urban and ruralareas is not balanced has become a social problem, the government can not meet theneed of basic public services related to the realization of the basic rights of the steadydevelopment of the society and the citizen, the relation to the livelihood of the peoplequestion if processing is undeserved and may even become a political problem,affecting the overall development of china.In this paper, through the research on the related theory, the analysis and researchon the provision and the current development of China’s city and rural areas of basicpublic service, combined with Shijiazhuang and it’s subordinate counties of thedevelopment of basic public service situation of practical investigation and study to thepresent, Chinese basic public services in urban and rural areas of the status quosummarized the specific system. The Shijiazhuang as a regional examples to study thesystem, analyzes the cause and puts forward the path choice, and actively explore thepath to achieve the equalization of basic public services, to provide reference forpromoting the realization of the development and the equalization of the country..The equalization of basic services to achieve is a long-term process, need publicservice efforts of subject and the masses.
