Government Micro-Bo Study Political Communication Perspective

Political communication is foundation of political lives and political administration, and it is an irreplaceable means for all political achievement. It is necessary to establish effective political communication in construction of modern nations. In the present society, democracy has been becoming an irresistible trend in both capitalism and socialism countries. Political communication is the most important and apparent symbol of democracy. In order to achieve advanced political civilization, scientific communication structure and effective political communication should be constructed firstly. Among these types of communication based on the Internet technology, government affairs micro blog has been developing since2010.In the Introduction, the author states the significance, background and features of this essay. Also the research status and achievement on government affairs micro blog is analyzed. Meanwhile, the author introduces her thought, structure and methodology of this essay in this chapter.In next chapter, the concept of political communication is defined and the transition in method of political communication from the traditional way to the means based on the Internet is introduced. In addition, the role mass media play in political communication is discussed.The present condition of micro blog and the development of government affairs micro blog are described in the chapter Three. The author studies the content of12government affairs micro blog which are officially certified by the biggest micro blog operator, Sina, and acquired the research findings by analyzing the data of micro blogs.In chapter Four, the author chooses individual micro blog to study and analyze. Not only researches the different roles the micro blog plays in emergencies and network consensus, but also analyzes this blog’s content, issuing frequency, communications and so on.Lastly, the external situation for micro blog and its tendency are described; meanwhile, the feasibility is suggested by the author.This essay attempts to study how micro blog, the new communication tool, is used by government officials to promote the function change of the government, improve the construction of democracy and enhance the communication with the public.
