Research On Public Culture Service In The Rural And Mountainous Areas Of Fujian Province

With the growing needs of spiritual culture of the people, it is stated in the18th CPC National Congress that:We must make the social cultural life more rich and colorful and make sure the people enjoy better basic cultural rights and interests and they can lead a healthy and abundant spiritual and cultural life. Fujian Province keeps up with the times and responses to the calls of the central authorities and actively builds public service system of culture that covers the whole society. So far, we can see that the emphasis and difficult point of building public service system of culture that covers the whole society is in the rural and mountainous areas in our province. Therefore, we must speed up constructing the public service system of culture in rural and mountainous areas in Fujian Province.Base on such cognitions, I write this paper about building public culture service in rural and mountainous areas in Fujian base on analyzing and referring to the exist theoretical research findings of constructing public service system of culture while taking the regional characteristics in Fujian rural and mountainous areas under the guidance of Marxist theory, the new public service theory and theories of public products, new public service, public governance and so on.First of all, I define related concepts of public culture service, explain the connotation of public culture service system in the rural and mountainous areas. Second, I analyze the current situation of provision of public culture service in the rural and mountainous areas in Fujian. Third, I analyze the main reasons causing the status quo in quantificational and qualitatively. Finally, I come up with suggestions for the construction of rural public culture service system in Fujian in accordance with the above investigations.
