| Recently, aged-care at home is the hot spot of society. Weifang come into agingsociety in1994. Currently, the population aging issue is always accompanied by familyminiaturization and empty-nested phenomenon. Even worse, these problems areinterweaving with other problems in the particular period of economic and socialtransformation in our country. Thus, the arising new problems of the services for the agingcall for the corresponding reformation of traditional family older-caring system, that is,institutions supported endowment. However, institutions supported endowment can notbear the aged supporting responsibility well because of their own limitations andtraditional notions, that’s why home-based care system emerged and drawing more andmore concern. After recent year’s development, the aged-care at home has got someachievements, but due to the limitation of objective conditions and subjective factors,many problems also gradually revealed.This thesis is aiming at improving home-based care system through a process ofdiscovering problems, then finding out the reasons and finally putting forward the author’sown solutions to this problem. This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapterpresents the background and significance of this thesis. The second chapter defines therelevant theories and concepts. The third chapter is based on the field survey and researchin Weifang. Then the fourth chapter further analyzes the existing problems and explores thecauses. For the purpose of overcoming the present problems in Weifang and achieving abetter development of aged-care at home system, the fifth chapter makes an intensive studyof the forerunners, Britain, Japan and Hong Kong for instance, of their development andsuccessful improving experience. The sixth chapter is to learn some lessons for proposingeffective suggestions to the progress of home-based care system in Weifang, as well aspromote the development of home-based care system. |
