| With the fast development of the society and economy, the aging problem is becoming severely. The problem of provide for the aged has become an unneglectable issue in our social life in China. For the developed countries, the economic growth and aging process are synchronous; However, in China the aging process is ahead of the society and economy development, which is undoubtedly an ordeal for our country. Plus, due to the change of the family structure, the function of the traditional family-provide for the aged is weakening. So it is difficult to solve the aged-supporting problem thoroughly. Moreover, the speed of aging goes faster than the economy, so society aged-provide function is also facing problems. Under this condition, with the development of the community,it becomes the support and carrier for many kinds of services gradually, and a new practical choice as well. Therefore, the urban community service providing for the aged becomes more and more important, and it has been developing vigorously. This article contains seven chapters. The first one mainly explains the background, significance and the methods of the research. The second one expounds the current situation and influence of the aging population. The third one compare and research kinds of aged-supporting methods. The fourth one introduces some concepts and theories, foreshadows and take examples from some developed countries'experience as well. The fifth one emphatically demonstrate feasibility from macro and micro level and the practice that the urban community home aged-supporting mode is worth to spread universally. The sixth one focuses on the problems and suggestions about this mode. The last part gets a conclusion and shows some defects. In all, under the aging population background, the most important thing is to choose a suitable mode to live a healthy, happy and valueable twilight years.
