Research On Township Administrative Division Adjustment By Considering Public Service As Main Factor

Currently, administrative division adjustment is considered to be one of the most realistic and efficient approach of integrating resource and accelerating the urbanization speed of a region. It brings opportunities and challenges for public service. On one hand, administrative resources would be gathered to form the diffusion effect, which would be in favour of improving the ability of providing public service. On the other hand, after the administrative region enlarged, the spatial arrangement of administrative resources would become unfit which would affect public service.This paper is analyzed by the example of Cangnan administrative division adjustment. After analyzing the dual influences that administrative division adjustment acted on public service, the author attempted to state the rationality by considering public service as main factor in the course of administrative division adjustment in theory.The first part of this paper stated the reason and some related literature review of administrative division adjustment. The second part, by taking Cangnan administrative division adjustment as an example, set forth the process and dynamics of adjustment. The third part analyzed the dual influences that adjustment acted on public services. The fourth part stated the inner link of administrative division adjustment and public service, and forward with suggestions of administrative division adjustment by considering public service. The last part was epilogue.
