Mass is a fundamental point of view of Marxist materialism, it is also one of the most important points of Marxist political outlook. Only by relying on the masses and serving the people, in order to ultimately obtain the trust and support of the masses, the party will be able to play its leadership role in the task of building socialism. In the new era of socialist modernization masses still plays an important role.Current theory has a large number of scholars on issues related to the theory of the masses launched a study, and achieved fruitful results. However, due to a long time and a variety of reasons, in the theoretical circle there are few study on the crowd theory of Marxist writers, especially the classical writers. This paper attempts to introduce the basis of Lenin and Rosa Luxemburg masses concept, through comparative study of Lenin and Rosa Luxemburg mass theory, to emphasize the close ties with the masses and relies on the masses, is still playing an important role in the mass action.The first chapter introduces the concept of Lenin’s crowd theory, First of all, Lenin introduced the masses against the spontaneity, the Social Democratic Party to promote awareness of background. It was mainly affected by the economic ideologies of the Russian Social Democratic Party and the impact of new factions. Secondly, the introduction of Lenin believed that relying on the masses of view.
