Promotion Measures Of Government Social Capital In China

As a hot concept and an analytical paradigm, social capital is popular amongmany disciplines since the1990s. The concept of social capital has been used toexplain the social political economic phenomena by experts and scholars fromsociology, economics, political science, management and even history and otherdisciplines. The theory of social capital has brought a new research perspective forChina’s political development and socialist development. However, it is rare for thestudy of government social capital in China. This thesis analyzed the current situationof government social capital in China by starting from formation and function ofgovernment social capital, proposing the main problems existing in China’sgovernment social capital. Then it put forward the way to improve China’s governmentsocial capital, including sing education measures, establishing high quality government,improving the quality of civil service and building response mechanisms.
