Family education has important influence on people’s life, but migrant children’s family education has problems. According to the social ecosystem theory, community is the important support system of children’s family education. So taking guidance activities for migrant children’s parents on this basis is an important way to improve the quality of early childhood education and promote education equity. Therefore, this research basing on community attempts to guide migrant parents how to educate their early children on Chongqing local situation. This research has two aims. One is to understand the problems and needs of migrant children’s family education for targeting guidance activities. Second is to provide experience for family education guidance activities in Chongqing and make corresponding recommendations through taking specific practical activities and summarizing activities’successes and difficulties.Due to the complexity and diversity of community, this research is a qualitative research. We mainly use literature, observation and interviews to collect and analyze data. The survey results show that migrant children’s family education has the following problems:1. Match food randomly; Lead children to physical exercise rarely; Lack knowledge of common diseases and how to prevent these diseases in young children2. Do not pay enough attention to children’s health habit3. Buy children’s books, CDs and other cultural goods less and choose these cultural goods monotonously; Select toys monotonously and little value; Lack necessary guidance and support for children learning; Neglect of the child’s emotional needs; There are less emotional communication between father and children4. Lack communication with surrounding population; Use surrounding resources lessIn view of these above problems, on community basis, we carry out the guidance activities through the following ways and forms: 1. Ways:Cooperate with medical institutions; Absorb college volunteers; Use existing educational resources; Cooperate with early education institutions2. Forms:Sharon; Lectures; Family activities; TrainingResults:because of lack of relevant policy support, the government without the guidance of public opinion, community without relevant resources, carrying out activities is difficult; For earring activities, family activity is the parents’love, salon is the most effective means to solve problems, lecture is the best way to teach knowledge system; Parents are most concerned about children’s feeding problems; To0-1year-old children, their parents participate in activities more, to children above1year old, mostly their grandparents take part in the activities.According to the activities’results, we suggest that government purchase service; improve community situation; strengthen kindergartens, hospitals and other social institutions’social service function; improve volunteers, social workers’system.
