With the reform and opening up of China,the urbanization process is speeding up,and the number of rural labor force flowing into cities continues to increase.The floating population's flowing form gradually changed from the original young adults'"individual migration" into”the whole family's migration",brought a group of new-rural migrant children into the cities,and also spawned a series of problems,of which the most prominent is migrant children's education problem.At present,the school education of migrant children has received a lot of attention.However,family education,as the first and most profound and longest lasting education of migrant children,has not been given due attention.The study on the family education of migrant children can raise the awareness of the society,improve the quality of education in the children's family and help the children to socialize smoothly.At the same time,the study is up to the requirements of the present problems brought by the large population flow as well as the concerns of a new generation of children growing.There is strong practical significance and social value in the study.This study tries to understand the present situation of migrant children's family education through typical case interviews and a questionnaire survey of 300 parents and 300 migrant children from Daitou Primary School in Tong'an district,Xiamen city.And this study analyzes the influencing factors of migrant children's family education from the perspective of Bourdieu's cultural reproduction theory.Descriptive analysis shows that rural migrant workers have very high and even excessively high education goals for their children.They attach great importance to family education,but lack the advanced education concept and want to learn more about family education.In the rural migrant worker's opinion,learning knowledge is the most important thing for the migrant children.There is a phenomenon of "heavy mental and light morality ".However,in the implementation of family education,"learning knowledge",which is the academic aspect of children,tends to stay only on the word,with low frequency of execution.Nearly 70 percent of the rural migrant workers think they should adopt a democratic education approach to their children,but in the process of family education,there are more than eighty percent of parents admitted frequently or occasionally used the method of "beating"on children education.It can be seen that many parents of rural migrant workers have the problem of "inconsistency between knowledge and practice" in their family education.Correlation analysis shows that rural migrant workers' family economic capital,cultural capital,social capital and its family education target,education idea,education content,education method has a different degree of correlation.The finiteness of economic capital,cultural capital and social capital will directly affect the quality of rural migrant workers' family education.According to the research conclusion,this study attempts to make suggestions from three aspects:government,society and family.First of all,the national government should further advance the reform of household registration system in China,to eliminate the trailing system root of migrant children's family education problem.The national government should also promote and perfect the relevant employment and social security system actively,to provide high quality training for the rural migrant workers and improve their living condition.Secondly,the communities where the rural migrant workers lived should strengthen the cooperation with enterprises and schools,to carry out family education lectures,parents schools and so on for the rural migrant workers.Through this way,they can raise the level of rural migrant worker 's family education effectively.Last but not least,as the first teacher of their children,rural migrant workers should improve their understanding,strengthen their learning,and strive to improve their own cultural quality,try to learn with their children and grow together.In the process of family education,it is necessary for the rural migrant workers to provide a good family environment for children,to create a family culture atmosphere,and to be "unity of knowledge and practice".
