City has been divided into different functional zones, almost all education is going to a place called school. Good education needs interactions between schools and other public spaces, such as park. park is a green public space without covering in the city, it has significant meaning for the city people’s life, and for student as well. This thesis tries to assess park in pedagogical perspective, compare and associate school and park. The author wants to emphasize some very important educational factors, such as natural environment, labor work, daily social communication, the interaction between school and park.This paper contains three chapters:Chapter one combs through the Chinese and foreign educational history for combination and separation of school and park in the eyes of educationist and in reality. Chapter one purports to conclude that school desires to have similar environment and atmosphere to park, while park always assumes education function, both of school and park have common features, they shall not absolutely separate with each other.Chapter two, assesses park from pedagogical perspective by entering into the spot (park). This chapter observes natural environment, manmade objects and people in the park. We love natural appearance, and we can’t give up the convenience of manmade objects, let alone the communication between people.Chapter three returns to discuss education and school. School could learn something from park to make some improvements accordingly. School and park shall strengthen interaction with each other in many aspects in order to contribute to students’healthy growing up.In the context of learning society, we could learn from everything at anywhere by anytime. We need balance and positive attitude rather than extreme attitude. Cooperation is good, on the way of looking forward to a better education.
