For a long time, the traditional teaching system with large number of students justsitting down and listening to teachers has been adopted and kept limited by basiceducation resources. Such mode in teaching makes teachers undoubtedly the objectwhile students are restricted as a result of which such phenomenon of "cramming" and"cramming education" classes is prevalent and students’ initiative for knowledge isconstricted with a passive attitude in study which will affect students’ ability of innovationand creation. Considering this fact, the reform of the existing teaching mode is particularlyurgent and important in order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum concept.Therefore, the theoretical research and practical exploration on the cooperativegroup-learning model needs to be strengthened combined with other relevant disciplinesto carry out and implement the new curriculum concept for instructing the teachingpractice.In theory, the purpose of the study on cooperative group-learning mode lies inpromoting the connection and picking-up between this pattern and teaching practice torealize the unity of theory and practice. Specifically, first of all, the awareness andknowledge of cooperative group-learning model itself should be strengthened to laid asolid theoretical foundation for the application of this model in mathematics teachingpractice in secondary middle school; Second, the exploration and investigation onteaching practice should be carried out to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of theapplication of the cooperative group-learning in mathematics teaching in junior middleschool and to strengthen teacher’s predictability and selectivity for ensuring the full play ofthe advantages of this model. Finally, the teaching evaluation should be launched,including the scientific analysis of the effects and validity of this learning model in practicalimplementation to find problems and to explore the problem-solving methods andmeasures for enhancing the effectiveness and feasibility of this model.“Learning to be cooperative and to communicate with others” is one of the conceptspromulgated by the Mathematics Course Standard in secondary middle school. Thecooperative group-learning model is the exploration on the mathematics teaching modein junior middle school, a beneficial attempt to adapt to the new curriculum reform.In order to effectively promote the practical application of cooperative group-learningin mathematics classroom teaching in junior middle school, this paper will focus onstrengthening the theoretical and practical understanding of cooperative group-learning mode. First, the thesis will focus on the study of the core concepts of this mode; second,the thesis will design the reasonable application of this mode in mathematics teachingjunior middle school based on those core concepts to explore the practical significance ofthe mode, the influence of this mode in mathematics teaching in junior middle school andtask design in strategies of this leaning mode in mathematics teaching in junior highschool etc.; Third, this paper will carry out the empirical research on the application ofcooperative group-learning in mathematics teaching junior middle school.The research makes it clear that the effective cooperative group-learning not only cantap the potential of students in learning knowledge and changing passive study to activeexploration, but also can promote the students’ academic performance. The existingrelevant problems in cooperative group-learning model, of course, require research andconsideration.
