Psychological violence is a non-physical contact to deliberately harm mental,spiritual, moral and social developments of others and the personality and behavior ofmiddle school students are much affected by the social support and achievementmotivation. Exploring the characteristics of psychological violence, social support andachievement motivation of middle school students, and analyzing the relationshipsamong the three factors not only has an important guiding value to the understandingand prevention of psychological violence of middle school students, but also enrichpsychological theory of the psychology and behavioral development of middle schoolstudents.In this study,the theoretical conception is laid on the basis of the literature analysis,and the structure of the psychological violence questionnaire was verified. First, thestudy surveyed425middle school students in Chongqing and discussed the presentsituation, analyzed the relationships among achievement motivation, psychologicalviolence and social support. Then, we did intervene-experiments on83middle schoolstudents. Finally, giving interviews to2middle school students on psychologicalviolence further verified the validity of the foregoing findings. The main conclusionsare as follows:①Psychological violence is a multi-layer and multi-dimension system, whichincludes four dimensions such as language attack, pressure builds, interpersonal attackand network violence.②There are significant differences between gender, school types, academic result,puppy love and father’s culture in the psychological violence.③There are significant differences between school type, academic result andfather’s culture in the social support. There are significant differences between academicresult and father’s culture in the achievement motivation.④Success tendency in speech violations dimensions of the psychological violencesignificantly exists negative correlation; utilization of social support in speechviolations dimensions of the psychological violence significantly exists negativecorrelation; the success tendency of achievement motivation in social supportdimensions significantly exists positive correlation.⑤Achievement motivation and social support show a significant prediction of psychological violence,and path analysis is used for in-depth study of this relationshipamong the three. It draws the conclusion that achievement motivation may be mediatingvariables of psychological violence and social support.⑥The respondents of the different level of psychological violence are different,and this difference is mainly in the frequency and attitudes.As an exploratory research, this study preliminarily analyzed the characteristics ofthe psychological violence of middle school students, discussed the effects ofpsychological violence from the perspectives of social support and achievementmotivation. It provides a foundation for the further study of school violence, helping toidentify violence behavior of middle school students, and promoting of the students’physical and mental health.
