With the work of promotion associated with the Chinese in the worldwide,particularly in the Thailand, the Chinese language has been become the secondsignificant foreign language in the Thailand. The schools attached to the Ministry ofEducation of the Thailand have offered the course with regard to the Chineselanguage study. Specifically, the senior high school can be considered as the lastphase of the twelve years compulsory education in the Thailand. The studentsunderlying the education mechanism, as a large community of study, will be providedthe Chinese Language Education without learning pressure related to the languagestudy. However, the considerable amount of students would like to engage in thestudy of the Chinese language actively. The10month teaching practice associatedwith the Chinese language in the Thailand will be regard as a reference to take intoaccount in the research by myself. Moreover, the domestic and foreign secondlanguage motivation research will be utilized to analyze the relevant circumstance inthe teaching activity. Furthermore, the specific methods will be used in thedissertation to investigate the motivation of the study of the Chinese language bysenior high school students in Thailand, including the questionnaires, individualinterviews and classroom observation. Meanwhile, based on using a combination ofquantitative research and qualitative research methods, the findings of statisticalanalysis software and the theory of second language learning motivation related toDornyei foreign language learning3-D construction mode can be identified in thisresearch. Moreover, Gardner and Lambert proposed the social psychological theoryof second language can be utilized to demonstrate the motivation of senior highschool regarding to learning the Chinese language. The results show that the highsenior school students learning the Chinese language in Thailand reveal considerablemotivatition. However, this dissertation implies that various factor may impact on themotivation of learning the Chinese language, such as gender, family background,grades, character, The length of time to learn Chinese, Learning Chinese proficiency. Based on the result of analysis, the girls who born in Chinese families, in low-gradelearning stage, partial outgoing personality and shorter time to learn Chinese as wellas be able to master the Chinese students, Chinese motivation is relatively strong, andvice versa weaker.According to the results, the author demonstrated: during theclasses, Chinese teacher should be focusing on teaching methods that are appropriatefor the circumstances in the teaching practice, whilst using of teaching material toconduct the assessment of result of the teaching; after class, the Chinese teachershould be concentrated on satisfying the requirements of students, whilst consideringthe teaching feedback in the process of activity. So arranging adequate activities ofteaching Chinese language and keeping the high quality relationship with studentsplay an essential role in the improving the motivation of study of the Chineselanguage. This research aims that the strategies mentioned above in studies canprovide some suggestion on the Chinese language teaching towards the student ofsenior high school in the Thailand.
