Investigation On The Present Situation Of IT Course Teaching Of Senior High Middle Schools In Hulunbeier

With the development of modem educational information technology, which is mainly based on multimedia technology and network technology, the information literacy of the teacher has become more and more important. The best way to develop the information literacy of the teacher is to set up IT curriculum as compulsory in primary and secondary schools, improve the teaching mode and teaching methods as well as promote the intergration of IT and Pedagogical courses.The investigation in the paper is carried out among all the senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier which have set up IT courses. In the earlier research the author reviews lots of literature to get more information. Then the author investigates the present situation of IT course teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier by sending out questionnaire among students and teachers of senior high middle schools and interviewing them.Based on the results of the earlier questionnaires and interview, the author analyzes the present situation of IT courses in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier. The author suggests there are sill some problems existing in the IT course teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbier: the IT course teaching hasn’t got enough attention; the teaching condition of IT course still needs improvement; the teaching force of IT course is still weak; the teaching effect of IT courses is not good enough; a sentific evaluation system hasn’t be established, etc.According to the investigation and analysis of the present situation of IT courses in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier as well as the regional characteristics in Hulunbeier, the author makes some suggestions on how to improve the IT course teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier: At first, the traditional educational idea of IT course should be changed; Secondly, the investment in IT teaching facilities should be increased; Thirdly, the construction of teaching staff should be strengthened; Forth, various flexible methods should be used in IT course teaching; At last, a practical evaluation system should be established.Through the investigation, the author learns more about the present situation of IT course teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbier and makes some useful suggestions, which may help improve the IT course teaching in senior high schools in Hulunbier.
