With the development of modem educational information technology,which is mainly based on multimedia technology and network technology,the information literacy of the teacher has become more and moreimportant The best way to develop the information literacy of the teacheris to set up IT curriculum as compulsory in primary and secondaryschools, improve the teaching mode and teaching methods as well aspromote the intergration of IT and Pedagogical coursesThe investigation in the paper is carried out among all the seniorhigh middle schools in Hulunbeier which have set up IT courses In theearlier research the author reviews lots of literature to get moreinformation Then the author investigates the present situation of ITcourse teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier by sendingout questionnairs among students and teachers of senior high middleschools and interviewing themBased on the resutls of the earlier questionnaires and interview, theauthor analyzes the present situation of IT courses in senior high middleschools in Hulunbeier The author suggests there are sill some problemsexsisting in the IT course teaching in senior high middle schools inHulunbier: the IT course teaching hasn’t got enough attention; theteaching condition of IT course still needs improvement; the teachingforce of IT course is still weak; the teaching effect of IT courses is notgood enough; a sentific evaluation system hasn’t be established, etcAccording to the investigation and analysis of the present situationof IT courses in senior high middle schools in Hulunbeier as well as theregional characteristics in Hulunbeier, the author makes somesuggestions on how to improve the IT course teaching in senior highmiddle schools in Hulunbeier: At first, the traditional educational idea ofIT course should be changed; Secondly, the investment in IT teaching facilities should be increased; Thirdly, the construction of teaching staffshould be strengthened; Forth, various flexible methods should be usedin IT course teaching; At last, a practical evaluation system should beestablishedThrough the investigation, the author learns more about the presentsituation of IT course teaching in senior high middle schools in Hulunbierand makes some useful suggestions, which may help improve the ITcourse teaching in senior high schools in Hulunbier...
