In this essay, I will talk about the basic status of the rural markets and the local farmers’ attendance of rural markets in Agricultural and Pastoral Areas of eastern part of Inner Mongolia. This essay consists of the following parts, which are the values of the rural markets, the problems that rural markets are facing today, the introduction part, summary, reference and appendix.This paper takes YiHuta Gacha Horqin Left Wing Behind Town Tongliao city, Inner Mongolian rural markets as an example, analyzing the production of the local farmers, the function of rural markets where farmers buy their everyday needs. And from sociological view of point, most importantly, I will base this thesis on several true examples. Under the basic information of the rural markets in Yilluta County, I aimed to discuss how to protect the old tradition as well as their own living space.I will divide the first part of this thesis into four parts which are the definition of the rural markets, their types, characteristics and structures. And this part will mainly describe the basic information of the rural markets in Yilluta County. The second part is the part of analyzing and practicing part. Using the way of qualitative analysis and quantitative method,I will analyze the function of the rural markets and the attendance of the local people. In the last part,I will clarify the development of the rural markets in YiHuta County in the future and give some questions about how to maintain or continue a country’s rural markets and even how to develop a healthy rural market.
