Mongolian teaching education is an important component of minority national education, and the focus of teaching career in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The education of primary school is the foundation and the cradle of the whole education. It is very meaningful to the inheritance of national culture and the improvement of the population quality.The Mongols in Keyouzhongqi occupies the highest proportion of the population of Inner Mongolia, and deeply influenced by the mainstream of Han culture. In the late 1980s, the Banner committee and the Government implement the Party’s national education policy seriously, and pay attention to the all kinds of development of minority education, so that to form various types of the basis national education system of Mongolian-based primary schools. However, in the late 1990s, all levels of Mongolian teaching school met with a great challenge. That is the decreasing number and combination of Mongolian teaching primary school, and reducing number of students and so on.The thesis consists of introduction, text, conclusion and reference part. The Introduction part illustrates the reason and significance of choosing this topic, and introduces the research methods and related research results. Meanwhile, the author also introduces the process of field investigation.The first chapter introduces the formation of the agricultural and pastoral area in eastern part of Inner Mongolia and Barentaiben Gacha. It elaborates the process, characteristics, and lifestyles of agricultural and pastoral area.In the second chapter, the author introduces the policy of national elementary education in Inner Mongolia.In the third chapter, the author reviews the history of Barentaiben school.In the fourth chapter, the author discusses the existing problems and solution to these matters of the basic education of agricultural and pastoral area in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, from the aspects of teachers, students, schools and social environment and so on.In the conclusion part, the author concludes the above four chapters and presents the practical significance of studying the problems of elementary education in rural area.
