| Information technology has become a hot technology in the new curriculum reform today, the integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum has received extensive attention, especially the areas which have developed economy, advanced education. Many studies about the use of information technology in mathematics teaching in middle school have been done by researchers. As we all known, the education of the northwest minority areas in China is relatively backward, the middle school mathematics teaching in this area, the integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum is a problem worthy of study.Based on the previous studies about the use of information technology, some of the more obvious problems in mathematics teaching which depended on information technology were investigated in a part of the Mongolia and the Han nationality middle school in one of the China’s ethnic minority regions-Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The main research methods are questionnaire and interview.The statistical result shows:the main factors limiting the use of the information technology in mathematics teaching in middle school of minority areas are:(1) the education decision makers (2) education system (3) economic foundation (4) digital educational resources and so on.In order to make the information technology to play a real role in the middle school mathematics teaching in the minority area, to make the importance of information technology and mathematics curriculum integration get further enhanced, to make the western minority areas’ mathematics education can keep pace with modern times, to provide help to the western minority area’s mathematics teachers of the middle school who can be more smoothly,more properly when use the information technology in the teaching, I finally gives the effective use of information technology. |
