In1999, State council approved the plan for21st Century Education Revitalization Action, and then the Ministry of Education made the Basic Education Curriculum Reform Program (Trial), developed a new turn a comprehensive Basic Education Curriculum Reform, and tried firstly in Shanghai. In Shanghai’s new curriculum standard which with the core concept of "develop the students", proposed to build the information technology platform, require physics course integrated with information technology, and build digital information system laboratory (DISlab) in53schools, which got a lot of appraise. Now the new curriculum is in full swing across the country, people pay more attentions to DIS experiment as PEP textbooks use DIS equipment a lot to do the experiments. The DIS is bound to be promoted across the country. Currently, there are many kinds DIS brand coexist on the market, among them llongwill DISLab and USA’s PASCO are outstanding in both utilization rate and market share. This thesis compares the two systems to provide a reference for researchers and users.In this thesis, following works have been done:(1) described the history and the products of longwill DISLab and PASCO.(2) Used two set of DISs to do the dynamics, mechanical, electrical, magnetic, acoustic and thermal experiments, compared the advantages and disadvantages.(3) Based on the introduction and experiments, compared the two system in hardware, software, training student’s ability, durability and price.From the comparison, we can get following conclusions: In hardware, PASCO is good at integration, llongwill is more generic; In software, PASCO’s software DataStudio has powerful data processing functions, llongwill’s DISLab has dedicated software for high school physics experiment which targeted the teaching; In durability, PASCO is both high-performance and durable, llongwill is not so durable as PASCO; In training student’s ability, PASCO focus on training students’data processing capabilities, llongwill have tendency to develop students ability to assemble the equipment.Physics education difference could be seen from the comparison, PASCO’ s characteristics of good at integration and easy to operate showed America’s developed technology and user friendly design, also demonstrate its advanced technology assisted education and its people-oriented philosophy of education; llongwill’s dedicated experimental equipment is designed for the textbook students experiment and demonstration, it’s an auxiliary mean of teaching, which provides great convenience for the teachers. From these we know that China’s education emphasis on the classroom teaching, all the educational activities are still around the classroom teaching.
