Studying On The Individual And Social Supporting Network Of Migrant Population

In recent years, along with the process continues to accelerate, the massive flow of the population is already very common, Shanghai as an international metropolis attracts a large number of migrant population. Understanding such so huge population will not be easy, but sociologists have never stopped to study. The person is not an isolated individual, and no matter how the environment is,if need,they will contact with the individuals and groups around. On the conditions of the individuals、groups providing all kinds of helps and supportings, they are likely to become the social supporting network of members. This research is mainly from the microscopic point of view to Shanghai Jiading District Anting town Shenyang Yuanda aluminium East China headquarters of the high-tech enterprise as an example to explore the social supporting network of migrant population and to explore the influencing factors of social supporting network status. In this study, individual center network is the perspective, and the network members set for individual. Excluding other meso,macro network members, mainly because the members of the network and network center in social status is not equal, in a lot of ways no existing necessarily interaction. This paper will set social supporting network as a continuous interaction network, so the network center and network members are limited to a single individual, and analysis the equality case on both sides. This studying is on the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, the exploratory analysis is through questionnaires and depth interviews to collect rich, detailed informations. This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the research background, research questions research significance and literature reading; the second part is the research ideas and methods, mainly introduces the research methods of data collecting and analysising method, establishing the hypothesis on reading a lot of literature data, to hope verify by this research; the third part and the fourth part are the core parts of this thesis, the third part describes and analysis migrant population’s personal characteristics and the individual social support network from the aspects of network scale and network relationships; the fourth part is mainly based on the third part and explore the influence of individual social supporting network factors, three factors are took into account,and three factors are environment, social support provider and receiver and provider relationship with the recipient. This research hopes to find what factors are related to the social supporting networks; the fifth part is the conclusion part, mainly is based on the former four parts, verify the hypothesis, and provide guidance and advice for the future migrant population to develop new and better environment.
