Graphic teaching approach is a very important method for the history teaching in middle school, and it was very popular during the past decades, while now this approach is ignored by the current teachers and the related research has faded away. This thesis will focus on the fact that the graphic teaching approach has been suffered from years’ stagnation in the middle school history teaching. This study will apply Li BingGuo’s approach as the research objective and discus the inheritance and development of the approach from the multiple perspectives.This work will be divided into five parts:First of all, it will review the literatures of graphic teaching approach; secondly, it will introduce the research objectives, methodologies and logics, and the third part will introduce general situation of Li BingGuo’s graphic teaching approach, classify the graphic of his design, analyze these characteristic to sum up the feature of the historical graphic teaching approach; In the last two parts, will analysis the contribution and the feature of the approach; Li BingGuo’s Graphic teaching approach is better for teachers and students to overall master the teaching contents, then build overall understanding visual angle; it is better for teachers to break traditional concept of teaching materials, and re-examine teaching content; it is better for students to build establish knowledge connection, and form Structural knowledge; it is better to actualize teaching concept base on students, and promote students’study, therefore, it is still worth for us to inherit and carry forward.The concrete contents include:firstly, teachers should make Highly integrated on the premise of fully understanding structures of textbook, establish overall structure of history, handle the trend and connection of history; secondly, teachers should base on own characteristic and students’actual conditions to break traditional concept, and re-examine teaching content; in addition, teachers should use students’view to design education.After all, Li BingGuo’s graphic teaching approach follows the principles of normative, iconic, relevant, diversity and expressive, these rules will extremely direct our methods of history teaching.As the development of the information technology, graphic teaching approach get new develop opportunities, this article use PPT and mind map for example to explain the develop trend and specific application of graphic teaching approach in this new period.
