With the continuous deepening of reform in the field of basic education, quality education has become the consensus of teachers and students at the present stage. In the course of history, it has become an important goal to promote the students'ability of history subject, and pay more attention to the development of students' ability, rather than the memory of historical knowledge.After years of practice and exploration, the history teaching method has become one of the important teaching methods in middle school history teaching. Teachers can using graphic teaching method to cultivate the students' reading table knowledge, historical summary of ability and of teachers in middle school history teaching how to better design and application has certain practical significance. This paper mainly combined with the history of the people's version of the relevant teaching cases to explore the history of the theory, design, use, and should pay attention to the relevant issues.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, in the content mainly explores the background of historical figures teaching method application, summarized domestic and foreign research situation about the historical figures teaching method, introduces the main research ideas and methods. The second part mainly discusses the theoretical significance of historical figures teaching method, the contents of historical figures teaching method, mainly including the type of pictorial illustrations, maps type graph, chart type icons, signal schema, summary chart. The third part mainly introduces the necessity and advantages of the use of the teaching of history. In the fourth part, it mainly discusses the problems in the course of practice teaching. The fifth part discusses the strategy of the design and application of the history teaching method. The sixth part is the conclusion, which reiterates the main point of this paper.
