It is regarded as the key tool to achieve the state strategy of "A Country of Profound Human Resource" and boost the human resource strategy of enterprises in the new period that Chinese corporations are allowed to establish corporation universities. Under the current circumstance that domestic enterprises are in high demands of corporate universities while Chinese corporate universities are in early stage, the further research on corporate university is of significance to its development. This essay, under this background, adopts comparative perspective to research the business model and support system of corporate universities, and gives a conclusion about the experience and enlightenment of American corporate university and the backwardness of Chinese corporate university, and, therefore, in consider of the development trend of corporate university in the future, lays out suggestion for the practice of constructing Chinese corporate universities.This essay believes, even though Chinese corporate universities have been seen a rapid development, they are still at the early stage, comparing with the mature American corporate university, featuring many issues such as inappropriate positioning, excessive dependency upon universities, imperfect system, limited technology application, valuing training higher than evaluation, low level of connection between training and corporate strategy and of engagement of executives, etc. At present, corporate universities in America are taken as the core of generating profits, with a development trend of independent commercial entity aside employees training, and the running models of which are independent establishment with varied features. The counterparts in China are mostly regarded as NPO which serves to the internal training of enterprises, relies on the funds of enterprises, causing shortage of funds and model innovation. In addition, domestic corporate universities are in need to form their own serial, characteristic and excellent courses, in comparison with those in America. Chinese corporate universities should also pay attention to build a strict authentication system of teachers, enlarge the train of internal teachers and invite more executives to have more lectures and to form evaluation system for corporate universities.This essay, based its study, predicts the development trend of Chinese corporate universities is that more of such universities will emerge; Virtual teaching methods will be popularized; Distinct courses system will grow up to be a key point; Universities will rise to an entity of strategic value; Foreign cooperation will be more extensive. Considering the development trend and the results of comparative analysis, this thesis puts forward the following suggestions in the Chinese corporate university development. First, it should make characteristics according to the national conditions. Second, it should, based on enterprise strategy planning, make accurate position. Third, it should develop profit center, so as to realize financial independence. Forth, it should elaborate the curriculum and innovate Push mode. Fifth, it should build up and complete the evaluation system and conduct quantitative management. Sixth, it should enhance the cooperation with partners and make full use of industry resources.
