Innovation is the soul of a nation’s progress and the education for innovation is the key to promoting quality-oriented education. National programmatic document including the report at18th Party Congress pointed out the direction for a period of time in the future of our education innovation and reform, further emphasized the significance and the firm determination of cultivating innovational talents. Around the core of students’ all-round development and elevating innovation spirit, changing the embarrassing situation of "students liking music but not liking the music lessons", and reconstructing the meaning of "innovation" in the vision of music education,music education for innovation provides some important ways and ideas to promote the teaching of music for innovation, and deepens aesthetic education.I believe that the theory system of music education for innovation should include musical education in pre-school for innovation, music education for innovation in compulsory education phase, music education for innovation in high school, music education for innovation in university, special music education for innovation, social music education for innovation and life-long music education for innovation. With the development of psychology and creativity, every kind of music education for innovation has its characteristics and strategies in order to achieve better innovational teaching effect. In this paper, on the basis of summarizing about the theory and practice research of music education for innovation at home and abroad, focusing on the stage of musical teaching in compulsory education phase, construct the theoretical framework of the music education for innovation in compulsory education phase from music education for innovation’s status quo analysis, theoretical foundation, operation mode and teaching strategies, and ultimately arrive at it is a critical period of musical creativity culture in compulsory education phase, compatible music educational philosophy for innovation is the guiding ideology, the three dimensional pattern of music education for innovaton running is integration-beyond-creativity, music teaching strategies for innovation include the preparation strategy, implementation strategies, monitoring strategies and evaluation strategies and so on. These laid the foundation for the follow-up of innovative teaching practice, but also expect to provide some reference for music education reform and innovation. Specifically, mainly discusses the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction of the sort, on both domestic and foreign research, and introduces the research methods, research value and research ideas.The second chapter is the analysis of the status quo, mainly on the current status of our music education for innovation, philosophy, qualities, and the value of music education for innovation promoting, to do the groundwork for subsequent research.The third chapter is the theoretical basis of music education for innovation from the different disciplines of innovative science, philosophy, neurology, psychology and ecology nutrients.The fourth chapter is the operating mode, and the focus is to establish integration-beyond-creativity three-dimensional operation pattern based on the typical cases, and to describe the operating mechanism of music education for innovation.The fifth chapter is the teaching strategies, and summarizing the teaching ways and means of music education for innovation from preparation strategy, implementation strategy, monitoring strategy and evaluation strategy.The last chapter is the conclusion and outlook.
