The rapid development of modern education technology will inevitably bring about the great technological changes of education, and such a modernization of the technology requires us applying the latest achievements of modern science and technology into our teaching. We can also see from the outline of the Basic Curriculum Reform that "it is necessary to promote the application of information technology and the curriculum. Applying the Digital Information system in the teaching of junior middle schools is a way of combining the information technology and the curriculum, which can increase efficiency of the physics teaching, and develop students’innovation ability.In the stage of compulsory education, the focus of physics courses should not only be the teaching of scientific knowledge, training of skills, the new achievements and its influence to the human culture, but also be the cultivation of the desire to learn, the ability to explore the science phenomenon, the consciousness of innovation and the scientific spirit. Therefore, the application of the Digital Information system in physics teaching can both increase efficiency and improve the quality of teaching, and enhance students’operation ability and creative ability, which is the need of the reform of curriculum and the need of cultivating high-quality talents.This thesis mainly studies some problems related to the Digital Information system which is applied to physics teaching in the junior middle school. It makes of five parts, the first part introduces the background of the research and discusses the significance, content and method of the research combined with the status of Chinese and foreign research. The second part mainly discusses the theoretical basis of the research, and then introduces functions of DIS lab digital experimental system and the pedagogy theory that supports this research. The third part studies that the situation of Digital Information system applied to the theoretical teaching of physics in junior high school, which mainly refers to design some demonstration experiments by the use of the Digital Information system in order to the abstract concepts and laws of physics can be easily understood. The fourth part discusses the application of the Digital Information system in the course of physics experiment in junior high school, and introduces how to use the Digital Information system, instead of the traditional experimental model to group students for experiment. The fifth part is the summary and reflection of these studies.
