Migrant workers have been an important group of the city who cannot be ignored, and their children’s education problem is an important filed was concerned by many communities. When the compulsory education of migrant workers’Children is gradually addressed, how to solve the post-compulsory issues have been put on the agenda.The biggest obstacle to solve the post-compulsory education problem of migrant workers’ Children is the existing household registration system. There is no way to break the barriers of the household registration system. So studies in the nearest school become a wishful thinking. However, as a matter of fact, most of the children in the field after graduating from junior high school are more willing to stay in the city they stay for a long time to continue their high school. On the other hand, since the university’s enrollment, the city’s children are more willing to choose high school; on the other hand, junior high school graduates gradually reduced in recent years, so students’sharp drop caused the secondary vocational schools lack of source of students. Therefore, in order to solve the post-compulsory education problem of migrant workers’ Children, many people suggest to gradually opening the secondary vocational schools, provide post-compulsory educational opportunities for migrant workers’ children. Therefore, this article as Beijing an example, by analyzing the post-compulsory policy of migrant workers’ Children in Beijing, interpretation the policy of Beijing, and contrast the policy in Shanghai and Guangdong, and finally proposed a solution strategy.The article is divided into five parts:The first part is the origin of this article, and then clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of this article. At last indicating a foothold and innovation of this paper on the basis of the relevant literature review,.The second part and the third part analyzes the policy of migrant workers’ children in post-compulsory education in Beijing; and analysis the background of the policy from three aspects, the different interests between the different subjects, the number of migrant workers’ children continued increase and a strong desire to enrollment, the source student of secondary vocational school in Beijing atrophy recent years; lastly show the existing policy of Beijing.The fourth part analyzes the problems of the policy during the Platform. Also analyzed the policy of the off-site college entrance examination in Beijing, the policy of vocational schools and parents of children’s different responses to the policy of the off-site college entrance examination, and contrast the policy of Shanghai and Guangdong, and analysis the lag and shortcomings of the policy of the off-site college entrance examination in Beijing.The fifth part is the comments and suggestions, including the national level and the Beijing Municipal level. The suggestion of national level is promulgate lowest opening threshold, continue to promote the reform of the college entrance examination system; the recommendations to Beijing are easing of restrictions to avoid the phenomenon of "one-size-fits-all", open "Five Years" college, open vocational examination policy.
