As quality education reform unceasingly thorough, new teaching methods and teachingmeans, teaching from past what attaches great importance to the teaching and learning, how toteach, how to learn. In order to conform to the changes in the new situation, ideological andpolitical theory class must be changed in the past teaching mode and teaching method of"cramming education", to conform to the quality education idea of new way of teaching. Theauthor thinks that, problem-based teaching method is one conforms to the concept of qualityeducation teaching methods. Problem-based teaching method refers to teachers in teachingprocess, through the creation of problem situation, put forward concrete problems, inspire thestudent to discover new problems, and puts forward new problems, and guide studentsactively in the process of autonomous, cooperative, inquiry learning efforts to explore theways and methods to solve the problem, and to explore and solve problems in lifelonglearning necessary basic knowledge and basic skills, form a correct world outlook, theoutlook on life and values, finishing the teaching process, method for realizing the objectiveof the course teaching. Ideological and political theory course teaching present situation, theauthor of this paper, starting from the concept of quality education, the application ofproblem-based teaching method in the ideological and political theory course for preliminarystudy and exploration. Specifically, this article is divided into six parts to discuss topics,mainly explore problem-based teaching method in the ideological and political theory classUSES the practical significance, problems and specific implementation issues.The introduction is mainly for the purpose of this thesis research and significance, andresearch status at home and abroad are discussed.The first chapter mainly from the problem-based teaching, problem-based teachingmethod, the generation and development of concepts and the characteristics of the teachingmethod three aspects discussed.The second chapter mainly from is conducive to promote the all-round development ofstudents, to improve teachers’ teaching level, is advantageous to the communication betweenteachers and students interact and promote the quality education and the implementation ofnew curriculum reform in ideological and political theory course has been discussed from the following four aspects: the practical significance of the problem-based approach.The third chapter is mainly to current status of the application of problem-basedteaching method in the ideological and political theory course are analyzed, and points out theproblems existing in the teaching method in the implementation process of ideological andpolitical theory question and the reason analysis.The fourth chapter mainly based on the present situation analysis, proposed theproblem-based teaching method in the ideological and political theory course teachingconcrete implementation, mainly from the implementation of the principle, approach ofimplementation and the main points of the three aspects discussed.Conclusion of problem-based teaching method applied in the ideological and politicaltheory course for some of their own thinking and to form a overall understanding, lookingforward to get more the attention of fellow colleagues, together in the ideological and politicaltheory course teaching practice further discussion and research.
